DrillRoster is a K–12 emergency roll call and drill accountability platform designed for schools and districts. It enables real-time student accountability during safety drills and generates audit-ready drill reports for compliance documentation.

Hosting & Infrastructure

• TLS encryption enforced site-wide (HTTPS)
• No public user-generated content hosting
• No embedded advertising networks

Data Storage & Practices

• Database: MySQL
• Stores only: student first name, last name, middle initial, grade level, and assigned teacher
• No Social Security numbers
• No financial data
• No health records
• DrillRoster does not collect, sell, or monetize student data

DrillRoster is not a public content platform and does not host user-generated content intended for public indexing.

Authentication & Access Controls

• Email/password authentication
• Passwords hashed using industry-standard secure hashing algorithms
• Role-based access control (Administrator, Teacher)
• Tenant isolation — data scoped per school
• Planned roadmap: 2FA and Clever/ClassLink SSO integration

Filtering & Firewall Categorization

DrillRoster is a legitimate K–12 SaaS platform and should not be categorized as: Newly Registered Domain, Proxy/Anonymizer, File Sharing, Greyware, Dynamic DNS, or Suspicious.

If your district uses Lightspeed or GoGuardian, allowlisting is typically performed by a district administrator inside the vendor portal. For Cisco Umbrella/OpenDNS or Cisco Talos review, please submit a categorization request for drillroster.com.
